He was rescued with one other back in December 2008.  He was in a terrible condition, emaciated, full of worms and covered in lice.  He looked so dejected and sad and we so hoped that he would make a full recovery.

We found that he had a micro-chip and we discovered that his Sire was Animo an impressive jumper who had competed at the Barcelona Olympics in 1992.

He has taken a long time to mature both physically and mentally and has been out in a couple of short term homes over the last few years.

One of the ladies, who has worked at the SWHP for many years, has looked after him as her own and  has taken wonderful care of him.  She has put all the hard work into getting him to his confident current stage.

He has recently come into his own and has started eventing in the capable hands of Ross Millar a local Event Rider.  Here is a picture of him schooling over a jump at The Chepstow Horse Trials 2013.

In his first official event at Homme House on the 7th August 2013 he did extremely well getting a very good dressage score, having only one pole down in Show Jumping and going clear over the Cross Country Course.  He has a very bright future ahead of him.
