Mrs Tiggywinkle

We were contacted on the 7th March 2010 and asked to take in a pony from the South Wales area.  We have named her Mrs Tiggywinkle and when we went to collect her we found her lying down and ready to die. She is pitifully thin due to starvation and we are going to do everything we can to help her get better.  It will be a long recovery for the little three year old mare, but we have our fingers and toes crossed; she is certainly worth the effort.

What a difference 6 weeks make.  Here she is with our mascot Sebastian having a lovely time in the field.

Here she is again looking even better, but maybe not so happy about having her photo taken.

September 2010 - Mrs Tiggywinkle has been successfully adopted into a temporary home for a year or so before being returned to us for backing.

March 2013 - Mrs Tiggywinkle has just been returned to us from her lovely temporary home and is now ready for backing.  We are really looking forward to working with her and finding her a lovely riding home when she is ready.

August 2014 - Mrs Tiggywinkle has now been out in a ridden home for the last 6 months with her new family.  We just wanted to say a HUGE well done to Sarah with Mrs Tiggywinkle who came first in the local best rider category at Chepstow Show this weekend. Here is a link to the South Wales Argus reporting on her success http://www.southwalesargus.co.uk/news/11400132.Thousands_gather_for_Chepstow_Agricultural_Show/

The SWHP are so proud of Sarah and Tiggy.
