Starsky & Hutch July 2010
STARSKY & HUTCH
Collected on Monday 5th July 2010.
Two yearling colts found on Llantony Mountain by walkers and riders. A very kind farmers wife with her daughter and her pony managed to coax them down to their farm, so that we were able to easily load them into our trailer. They were very weak, and in bad need of special care. They both need help to get up as they are so weak and they have had a very heavy worm burden, which is a concern for their future. It is still early days for them both and they have both needed veterinary attention.

28.07.10 UPDATE
Following a couple of worrying weeks for Starsky and Hutch, we are pleased to say that we think they have both turned the corner. Hutch is able to get to his feet unaided and although the staff are having to lift Starsky at 10pm, Midnight and 3am in the morning, he seems to be getting stronger every day. They are out in the garden every day to graze and do not want to be caught in the afternoon to come in. They are starting to show some spirit which is always a good sign.
