Duncan MacGregor 31 October 1958 - 26 December 2014

Duncan Wynnes MacGregor - 31 October 1958 - 26 December 2014 It is with deep sadness that we must inform all of our friends and supporters of the death of Jenny's son, Duncan MacGregor. He was a staunch supporter of the Society and its work and was a Trustee for the last 4 years. Duncan was a great companion to Jenny, especially since they both suffered the loss of Alasdair in 2010. He spent much of his time with Jenny in Monmouthshire and was much loved by all the staff at the Society. We would like to thank all those who have kindly written letters of condolence.

SWHP Statement

We would like to clarify that the Welsh Pony Re-homing Project was set up entirely by Anne Keating and her supporters and that the SWHP was not involved. The SWHP has worked with Ann for over 30 years on the commons and have on many occasions taken in horses and ponies from these areas that have needed our specialist help. We would like to add that Ann Keating has done sterling work over the years for equine welfare on the commons. The SWHP is a registered charity that helps equines not only in South Wales but over a large area and so our time is not spent entirely with the problems that are on the commons. We have been very disturbed at the inaccurate information that is being voiced about the SWHP through the social media network. We hope this statement now clarifies any misunderstanding.
