Horses for Rehoming

Each of the horses and ponies on this page have recovered from an ordeal, with help from SWHP. They are now ready to be re-homed in a safe, caring environment.

Before you decide to offer a home to these very special horses and ponies, we ask you to have a look at our adoption agreement page, which contains points that you should consider, along with the terms and conditions by which all our adoptive homes are bound.

MISTLETOE

12.1HH Palomino Mare 6 Years Old

Fantastic, uncomplicated pony.  Has been to pony club rallies, fantastic to hack out, good to do in all ways and is a wonderful family pony.  We are looking for 2nd pony club home to go and have some fun and reach her full potential.

MILO *On Trial Jan 2012*

14.1HH 5 Years Old Chestnut Gelding

He has been lightly backed and is going really well.  His backing has been uncomplicated and he loves hacking out, he is forward going.  This week we will start putting him over poles.  He is good to do in all ways and will make someone a fantastic hacking pony.  We are looking for a lovely knowledgeable home for him to take him to the next stage.

JUNO

13.3hh Mare

Forward going mare, who needs to be in regular work to keep her weight down. She is an all rounder who needs a confident rider to go and have some fun with her.

COMPANIONS

Archie

Approx 12.2hh (mature height 14h) gelding 9 months old

Archie is a very sweet little chap who is looking for a permament companion home.  He has a heart murmur which means he cannot be ridden.  He is good to handle and he is very friendly.

Oliver

11.2hh Rising 3 Gelding

Oliver is looking for a companion home for a year until he is ready to come back to us for backing.  He was a hand reared foal so he can be a bit cheeky at times.  He is very easy to handle.  He is ideally looking for a home with another youngster as he loves to play.

MINI MOUSE & KIMBERLY *ON TRIAL JAN 2012*

Two lovely falabella x ponies, both 9.2hh coloured mares 5 years old.  Looking for a lovely new home.  We believe they could make a lovely driving pair.  Good to do in all ways.  They have been together all their lives and we would like to re-home them as a pair.

PUMPKIN *ON TRIAL JAN 2012*

14.3hh Gelding 4 and a half Years Old

He is a lovely boy who needs a home for a year to grow on and mature until he is ready to be returned to us for backing. He is 100% to handle and is easy to do in every way. He would suit being with a gelding as he loves to play.

MIRACLE *On Trial Jan 2012*

12.3hh Gelding 2 Years Old

Miracle is a hand reared foal and is looking for a home for a year or two to grow on. He needs a confident experienced handler as he likes to think he is in charge.
