Make A Donation

The existence of SWHP depends entirely on your donations.

All horses and ponies at SWHP have to be wormed every six to eight weeks, depending on their condition on arrival. Each worm dose costs £8.

Almost all animals taken into our care have feet in very poor condition and all have their feet trimmed at least four times a year at a cost of £15 for each horse, each time.

In addition, the teeth of most are seriously in need of attention and we have regular visits from the horse dentist. Each treatment costs £25.

On top of these vital treatments, there is the cost of bedding, feed and hay as well as repair and maintenance for the fields and buildings.
