Our most pressing need is always for funds but at this time, the money raised is destined to help the poor ponies of Gelligaer Common. These ponies are bought cheaply at market and released onto the common by people who have no right to do so, in the vain hope that the ponies will produce a foal that can be sold for profit (although how anyone can expect an undernourished mare to produce a foal at all is beyond us).

The common cannot support the number of ponies on it and as a result the ponies are dying of starvation. We have created a food distribution programme but without the money donated by you, we would be unable to continue this valuable work.
