Each of the horses and ponies on this page have recovered from an ordeal, with help from SWHP. They are now ready to be re-homed in a safe, caring environment.

Before you decide to offer a home to these very special horses and ponies, we ask you to have a look at our adoption agreement page, which contains points that you should consider, along with the terms and conditions by which all our adoptive homes are bound.

Bay Hanovarian Gelding 12 years old  16.2 hh

A lovely natured and affectionate horse that is 'up to weight', and looking for a special and understanding home where he can be hacked out.  He has been in his current home for 4 years and can be seen at this location.  His is looking for a new home as his current keepers are not able to use him as much as they would like to.

Black Cob Mare  15.2 hh

Solstice is full of character and is going nicely.  She does suffer with sweet itch which is controlled using a boet rug.

Betty has just been backed and is going very nicely - She is green and needs a knowledgeable home to bring her on and she is sure to be lots of fun

COMPANIONS

Mistletoe is looking for a temporary/companion home for the next couple of years until she is old enough to be returned to us for backing.  She is a lovely pony and very sweet.

Brown Mare  Miniature Shetland 9.1hh  DOB 1998

She is a lovely little mare, good to handle and catch etc.  We are currently in the process of breaking her for driving as we have found that she is a pony that needs to be doing something.  We are therefore looking for a home that would be interested in driving.  She suffers with sweet itch, and it is under control.

We always have young companions needing temporary homes until they mature. If you are interested please contact us.
